British Columbia Provincial Nominee Program (BC PNP): BC PNP conducts its fourth round of Skills Immigration invitations for July 2024 (still no Entrepreneur draws this month).

Temporary Measures for Wildfire Victims: Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) announces free replacement immigration documents and eligibility for temporary status extensions for wildfire victims, effective from July 22, 2024 to November 30, 2024.
Judicial Review (Self-Employed Program): Judicial review granted for self-employed artist with decades-long self-employment history (findings of unresponsiveness to evidence and lack of justification).
But also, reminder: intake for this program is currently “paused”, effective April 30, 2024.
Canada Border Services Agency (CBSA) News: CBSA reports that Greater Toronto Area (GTA) Region processed 200,000 study permits and more than 228,600 work permits from January to October 2023.
Judicial Review (misrepresentation): Judicial review granted in misrepresentation case regarding an open work permit application from the Applicant, who had a criminal charge that had been stayed.
