Accessibility Policy

Beaupré Legal Professional Corporation (“BLPC", “we”, or “us”) is committed to meeting is obligations under The Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act (“AODA”), The Ontario Human Rights Code, and any other applicable legislation or regulation.

Communication

If a person self-identifies as having a disability (per the legal definition in AODA) in communications with BLPC, we will respond to the communication in a manner that takes into account the barrier and will aim to make alternative formats available upon request.

Our Premises

Please note that our Port Colborne location is accessible only by stairs. Persons with concerns about accessing this location are invited to contact us to discuss alternate meeting arrangements.

Service Animals and Assistive Devices

A person with a disability may bring assistive devices, a support person, or a service animal to in-person meetings. If the presence of an assistive device, support person, or service animal presents a significant or unavoidable health or safety concern, we will strive to use other measures to ensure that the person with a disability can access our services.

A person who is accompanied by a service animal is solely responsible for the care, control, safety, and clean-up of the service animal at all times.
